Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using www.cabinethut.com (the “Website”), purchasing products, or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, you must not use the Website or purchase products or services from us.

2. Products and Services

CabinetHut provides cabinetry products, related accessories, and associated services, including but not limited to:

  • Kitchen cabinets
  • Bathroom cabinets
  • Storage cabinetry
  • Cabinet hardware and accessories
  • Design consultation services
  • Delivery services

All product descriptions, images, specifications, finishes, materials, colors, and dimensions are provided for informational purposes only and may vary slightly due to manufacturing tolerances, lighting conditions, screen displays, or material characteristics. We reserve the right to modify products without prior notice.

3. Orders and Payment

3.1 Order Acceptance

All orders are subject to review and written acceptance by CabinetHut, LLC. We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or limit any order at our sole discretion, including but not limited to errors in pricing, availability, or suspected fraud.

3.2 Pricing

All prices are listed in United States Dollars (USD). Pricing does not include applicable federal, state, or local sales tax, shipping, delivery, storage, installation, handling, or other additional fees unless expressly stated in writing.

In the event of a pricing error, CabinetHut, LLC reserves the right to cancel or adjust the order prior to shipment.

3.3 Payment Terms

Payment terms are as follows unless otherwise agreed to in writing:

  • A 50% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of order placement.
  • The remaining 50% balance is due prior to shipment or delivery.

Orders will not enter production until the required deposit is received. Products will not ship or be released until the full balance is paid.

Failure to make timely payment may result in production delays, storage fees, or cancellation of the order.

4. Custom and Special Orders

Custom, made-to-order, modified, or special-order cabinetry:

  • Cannot be canceled once production has commenced.
  • Are non-refundable.
  • May not be returned or exchanged.

Customers are solely responsible for reviewing and approving all final drawings, layouts, finishes, dimensions, and specifications prior to production. Written approval constitutes final acceptance.

5. Shipping and Delivery

5.1 Shipping Timelines

Estimated production and shipping timelines typically range from 4 to 10 weeks depending on product type and availability. All timelines are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

CabinetHut, LLC is not responsible for delays caused by manufacturers, freight carriers, supply chain disruptions, weather events, or other factors beyond our control.

5.2 Delivery

Delivery is curbside unless otherwise agreed in writing. The customer is responsible for ensuring clear and safe access for delivery.

5.3 Inspection and Damage Claims

All products must be inspected immediately upon delivery.

  • Visible damage must be noted on the carrier’s delivery receipt at the time of delivery.
  • Concealed damage claims must be submitted in writing within 3 calendar days of delivery.

Damage claims must include photographs of the packaging, product, and shipping labels.

Failure to follow these procedures may void eligibility for replacement or claim processing.

6. Returns and Refunds

6.1 Stock Items

Stock (non-custom) items may be eligible for return within 14 calendar days of delivery, subject to:

  • Written return authorization
  • A 25% restocking fee
  • Customer-paid return shipping
  • Items being unused, uninstalled, undamaged, and in original packaging

6.2 Non-Returnable Items

The following items are non-returnable:

  • Custom cabinetry
  • Special-order items
  • Assembled cabinets
  • Installed products
  • Clearance or discounted items

Refunds, if approved, will be issued to the original payment method within 14 business days after inspection of returned goods.

7. Installation

CabinetHut, LLC does not provide installation services unless expressly agreed to in writing.

We are not responsible for:

  • Improper installation
  • Structural modifications
  • Site conditions
  • Plumbing, electrical, or framing issues
  • Code compliance

Improper installation voids any applicable manufacturer warranty.

8. Limited Warranty

CabinetHut, LLC passes through manufacturer warranties where applicable.

Unless otherwise specified by the manufacturer:

  • Cabinet boxes carry a limited 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
  • Hardware carries a limited 1-year warranty.

Warranty coverage does not include:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Improper installation
  • Water damage or excessive humidity
  • Misuse or abuse
  • Modifications or alterations
  • Improper storage
  • Natural wood variations

Warranty claims must be submitted in writing within 30 days of discovering the defect.

9. Measurement Responsibility

The customer is solely responsible for:

  • Accurate site measurements
  • Confirming layout compatibility
  • Ensuring compliance with local building codes
  • Confirming appliance dimensions

CabinetHut, LLC is not liable for costs resulting from incorrect measurements provided by the customer or their representatives.

10. Storage Fees

If delivery is delayed at the customer’s request beyond 7 calendar days after notification of product readiness, storage fees of $50 per day may apply.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on www.cabinethut.com, including text, images, graphics, logos, designs, layouts, and product representations, is the property of CabinetHut, LLC and protected by intellectual property laws.

No content may be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used without prior written consent.

12. Website Use

Users agree not to:

  • Use the Website for unlawful purposes
  • Attempt unauthorized access to systems
  • Transmit harmful code
  • Interfere with Website operations

CabinetHut, LLC reserves the right to restrict or terminate Website access at its discretion.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CabinetHut, LLC shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Loss of profits or revenue
  • Construction delays
  • Project downtime
  • Third-party contractor errors

Total liability shall not exceed the total amount paid by the customer for the specific product giving rise to the claim.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CabinetHut, LLC, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from misuse of products, improper installation, or violation of these Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Hampshire, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Rockingham County, New Hampshire.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

17. Modifications

CabinetHut, LLC reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated versions will be posted on www.cabinethut.com and become effective immediately upon posting.

Continued use of the Website constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Return and Refund Policy

1. Overview

This Return and Refund Policy governs all purchases made through www.cabinethut.com (“Website”). By purchasing products from CabinetHut, LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to the terms outlined below.

Because many of our products are made-to-order or shipped directly from manufacturers, return eligibility is limited and subject to strict compliance with this policy.

2. Eligibility for Returns

2.1 Stock (Non-Custom) Items

Stock, non-custom, unassembled cabinetry and accessories may be eligible for return if all of the following conditions are met:

  • Return request is submitted within 14 calendar days of delivery
  • Product is unused, uninstalled, and undamaged
  • Product remains in original packaging
  • Return authorization has been issued in writing by CabinetHut, LLC

Returns requested after 14 calendar days will not be accepted.

2.2 Non-Returnable Items

The following items are strictly non-returnable and non-refundable:

  • Custom cabinetry
  • Made-to-order cabinetry
  • Special-order products
  • Modified or altered products
  • Assembled cabinets
  • Installed cabinets
  • Clearance or discounted items
  • Items marked “Final Sale”
  • Products damaged after delivery due to improper storage or handling

Once production begins on a custom or special-order item, the order cannot be canceled or refunded.

3. Return Authorization Process

All returns require prior written approval.

To request a return authorization, the customer must email:

returns@cabinethut.com

The request must include:

  • Full name
  • Order number
  • Delivery date
  • Detailed reason for return
  • Photographs of the item and packaging

If approved, a Return Authorization Number (RA#) will be issued. Returns shipped without an RA# will be refused.

Return authorizations are valid for 7 calendar days from issuance.

4. Restocking Fees

Approved returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee, calculated based on the original purchase price of the returned item.

The restocking fee will be deducted from the refund amount.

Shipping charges are non-refundable.

5. Return Shipping

Customers are fully responsible for:

  • Return shipping costs
  • Proper packaging
  • Freight coordination
  • Insurance coverage during return transit

All returned products must be shipped prepaid. We do not accept freight collect shipments.

CabinetHut, LLC is not responsible for damage incurred during return transit. Any damage that occurs during return shipment may result in partial or full denial of refund.

6. Inspection and Refund Processing

Once returned items are received, they will be inspected within 10 business days.

If approved, refunds will be processed within 14 business days after inspection.

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method only.

If payment was made by check or ACH, refunds will be issued by company check mailed to the billing address on file.

Shipping fees, handling fees, expedited fees, and white-glove delivery fees are non-refundable.

7. Damaged or Defective Products

7.1 Visible Damage

All shipments must be inspected at delivery.

If visible damage is present:

  • Damage must be noted on the carrier’s delivery receipt
  • Photographs must be taken at time of delivery
  • Written notification must be sent to support@cabinethut.com within 3 calendar days of delivery

Failure to document visible damage at delivery may void eligibility for replacement or claim.

7.2 Concealed Damage

If concealed damage is discovered after delivery:

  • Notification must be submitted in writing within 3 calendar days
  • Photographs of packaging and damaged product must be provided

Claims submitted after 3 calendar days will not be accepted.

7.3 Manufacturer Defects

Manufacturer defects must be reported within 30 calendar days of delivery.

CabinetHut, LLC will coordinate with the manufacturer for repair or replacement in accordance with manufacturer warranty terms.

Refunds are not provided for manufacturer defects unless repair or replacement is unavailable.

8. Order Cancellations

8.1 Stock Orders

Stock orders may be canceled within 24 hours of order placement, provided the order has not shipped.

After shipment, the order falls under the standard return policy.

8.2 Custom or Special Orders

Custom or special orders cannot be canceled once production has begun.

If cancellation occurs before production, a 15% administrative cancellation fee will apply.

Deposits on custom orders are non-refundable once production begins.

9. Refused Deliveries

If a shipment is refused without prior authorization:

  • All round-trip freight costs will be deducted from any refund
  • A 25% restocking fee will apply
  • Original shipping charges will not be refunded

10. Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges.

If eligible, items must be returned in accordance with this policy, and a new order must be placed separately.

11. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Customers agree to contact CabinetHut, LLC directly before initiating any credit card chargeback or payment dispute.

Unauthorized chargebacks may result in:

  • Account suspension
  • Collection proceedings
  • Recovery of legal fees and administrative costs

12. Limitation of Refund Liability

Total refund liability shall not exceed the original purchase price of the specific returned product.

CabinetHut, LLC is not responsible for:

  • Labor costs
  • Installation costs
  • Contractor fees
  • Project delays
  • Lost profits
  • Consequential or incidental damages

13. Policy Modifications

CabinetHut, LLC reserves the right to modify this Return and Refund Policy at any time without prior notice.

The version posted on www.cabinethut.com at the time of purchase shall govern the transaction.
